What is an inclusive family photoshoot?

Outdoor family photoshoots - tailored for families with members who are differently-abled, neurodivergent or suffer with anxiety.

Sessions can take place in your favourite outdoor location. Why not bring your pet along too or, if your young person loves animals, I am able to bring my dog, Ellie, along to help ease anxiety (upon request and client suitability).

The Story behind offering Inclusive Photoshoots

The idea of offering inclusive family photoshoots developed after talking to other people who have children with additional learning needs. The general consensus within the group was that they would love professional photographs of their family, but were concerned about being in a studio setting, the “posing”, time constraints or the photoshoot, possible lack of understanding/ experience around their child/young person’s needs from the photographer and being in an unfamiliar or non-accessible setting. Being neurodiverse myself, I have often found that I can both understand and relate to young people facing the same challenges as myself, which allows me to create a welcoming environment.

I am committed to offering outdoor photoshoots tailored to the needs of those families who previously believe it would otherwise be impossible due to complex needs/anxiety.
